One night, Eddie answers the door, and is greeted by a group of children playing Trick or Treat. When he fails to give them any sweets, they "trick" him by ramming a toy trident into his crotch. Realising that it's Halloween, Richie forms a plan; he and Eddie will go trick-or-treating to raise money for a party which will feature, in Richie's words "lots of booze and birds and shaggy-shaggy-shag." They go down to the local costume shop, and Richie returns with a woman's devil outfit, while Eddie ends up dressed up in a giant banana costume. To make sure that people give them money, Richie asks Eddie to bring along an electric cattle prod which they have somehow obtained; unfortunately, when he tries to use it the electricity arcs back and causes Richie's bowels to loosen, ruining one of his three pairs of tights. A few hours later, Richie and Eddie have managed to get some sweets (and apples with razor blades embedded), but no money. Eddie then spots the kids that he saw at the start of the episode, and suggests that he and Richie beat them up and take their sweets. The reverse happens, however; the kids beat up Richie and Eddie, and take all their sweets. Determined to press on, Richie knocks on the door of the next house they come to, which turns out to be owned by Spudgun. Boosting Immunity Before Flu Season - as part of the expert series by GeoBeats. Cold and flu season is almost here, are you ready, here it comes. We all want to stay healthy, of course, that makes more sense of the world, does not it. It is difficult to do, it is difficult to do in a busy busy world, it difficult to do in a world that has doorknobs. It is difficult to do in a world that has children, those little walking petri dishes that go to preschool and come back. Yeah, I know all about that one. So the best thing you can do to keep yourself health through the cold and flu season is to really make sure your immune system is on high alert. In order to do that there are a couple things, key things that we need to be careful of. Unfortunately what happens at the same time cold and flu season hit? Holidays, what happens at holidays? Sugar right, the key thing that we can do is really reduce sugar and increase those vegetables and fruit. So if you really want something sweet, go for a piece of fruit, start there. Hard to convince the kids to do that I know, particularly with Halloween and Thanksgiving and Christmas and Chanukah and all of these things happening all at the same time. They all have to do with cookies, right, cookies and candy and trick or treating. So, minimize that, if you can find ways to trade out candy with the kids. Threw this together as I had all these clips of Jumanji going mad the other day in the arena and a few of his tricks, (he wasn't paying as much attention as usuall and he ended up not doing them very well! hehe! He does do them better ;) But he was a bit hyper and impatient on this day!) So Jumanji has now not been out in a field for 3 weeks :( All the horses are in to rest the fields (although it's technically and all year turnout yard, we has to be sensible! :D) so poor Jay has SO much unbounded energy, and the other day he had major silent treatment and got sent to his bed with no dinner after he dragged me the full length of the yard almost to his field, trying to kick out when I tried circling him and sending him round, then he dragged me all the way back into the yard owners garden (each of these times I eventually had to let go cos he was far too strong!) and then he wouldn't let me catch him! I eventually got him and marched him back to the stables with the rope round his nose and changed into his parelli halter and took him in the school for a serious groundwork session in which he kept trying to rear and buck in my face!! Cheeky monkey!!! ;) So after lots and lots of sending him away and not allowing him into my "party" untill he decided he was going to be nice about the whole thing, he joined up and followed me about like a dog, but I wasn't about to fully forgive him yet, so I tied him up outside his stable while I put his bed down and he constantly put his <b>...</b> |
