Here's a guy who looked into the face of death to hear him tell it and he gets on TV and says his experience in the hospital proves that health care in America is working. Rush just got an 8 year salary contract of $400 million per year. He could have gotten a hospital bill of a million dollars and paid it out of petty cash and he's acting like he got the same treatment as the average American. Even if he didn't fake this whole incident, does anyone believe that Rush really believes that people with lousy or no health insurance would have gotten top notch treatment in a Honolulu hospital? The main premise of the question is: can a guy making $400 million a year really relate to the average American? When people post questions, they present a broad range scenerio which doesn't mean they're ranting, crazy or need help. It's meant to give answerers a wide latitude to comment .

According to KITV, paramedics responded to a call at the Kahala Hotel in Honolulu at 2:41 PM and transported Rush to Queens Medical Center. According to the report, Rush was in "serious condition" when he arrived to the hospital. Attempts to reach a rep for Limbaugh were unsuccessful. UPDATE #1: TMZ has confirmed paramedics did respond to the Kahala Hotel at 2:41 to attend to someone with "chest discomfort."

    Wishing death on anyone is wrong, although I have some me-made and therefore human and imperfect, sinful exceptions. Gd alone should judge. By the way, Shat, I am a Republican and conservative to boot, so I like Rush generally taking his apparent racism, Oxycontin use, and other transgressions into account. I also realize that I am sinful as is, so I still think only Gd alone can truly judge, though wishing death on anyone is still wrong, as you said.
