1. Resolved Question: Accidentally took 2 phentermine? - I take phentermine daily but I accidentally took 2 this morning. I work night shift so by morning I mean at like 10:30pm (6 hours ago). Other than tweaking my ass off, but will I be ok? they are 37.5 mg for a grand total of 75mg I took. Right now I'm pretty tweaked out, and my heart's pounding, but not chest pains or feeling bad in any way.

6. Resolved Question: Help with phentermine?....? - Just a little history here, I was first prescribed phentermine(adipex) in may of 2010. I got off of them in Sept 2010. In just 4 months, I lost 52 lbs. (from 197 to 145)!!! The first day I took them I had no side effects & was actually sleepy....As time went on, I still didnt get too much of a boost of energy but apparently it worked....now, 1 1/2 yrs later, I had gained all my weight back. Ironically, I am again at 197 lbs!!....so I went back to the doctor on thursday and got prescribed phentermine again. Sunday morning I started taking the 1 tab 30 minutes before breakfast. I felt a little bit of energy and actually by evening hours, I crashed and i didnt even exercise or anything that day...Thinking back on how it affected me the first day last time, It afffected me the same way...but by now (3 days later), I'm not so sure if its working correctly....I'm only eating a little bit when i do eat, but if i see or smell food, I think hmmm ..do I want that or not? n then I have to make my mind say no..then I dont eat it but my ? is... is phentermine more like a mind control thing or should i not be even THINKIN about food....I drink water all day ... and my calories are only from 700-1200 a day, so apparently its workin some...and Im sure 1 year and a 1/2 would of been long enough to get out of my system...has anyone else had this problem with the second time taking phentermine? should i wait just a little bit longer to fully work?...My doctor said if phentermine doesnt work, he would prescribe me bontril...anyone switched before and seen that bontril worked better?....pls help, I want to loose weight like before and maybe I'm jus stressin a lil too much...i dk... let me add, that I DO want to loose weight like before and this time, keep up with the low calorie intake and exercising. I don't wanna hear about reasons why I shouldnt take this medicine..I know the risks...just help me out and answer my question... I don't need negative nancy's haha

I'm just a little concerned because I took them for 1 month in 2010 and lost 10 lbs then (kept it off too), but now this time around I have a different doctor, she gave me the blue and white capsules, the old ones I took were blue and white speckled tablets. I checked my RX and it says Phentermine 37.5 which is the same thing I took last time. BUT last time I did not have the following symptoms: extreme headaches, did not sleep for one entire night, (I actually haven't had dry mouth or thirst which I did have on the speckled pills), and I got dizzy at work the other day. I feel like I am starving all of a sudden. When I eat I eat something healthy since this hunger hits me frequently and suddenly. I carry healthy snacks. Today is my 3rd day and I slept normal for the first time last night and today I didnt have the hunger pangs or headaches. Maybe it's getting better. Anyway I am concerned that maybe these don't work the same as the speckled ones. Does anybody take the blue and white capsules like me? If so how much weight have you lost? I am currently 164 lbs. (5'2") and my goal is 120 lbs. She said I can reach my goal for sure. I work out 3 days a week and eat healthy (Weight Watchers). Sorry it was so long, thanks! You are an idiot and you are exactly the type of person who I don't want to answer. I have taken this medication before and I know it worked before. It helps you to not be hungry so you can eat less and do more, genius. I asked FOR ANYONE WHO HAS TAKEN IT BEFORE... meaning NOT you.

A little jittery at first but the feeling passes fairly quickly. I am 5'4" and weigh 230 lbs. I went to the doctor to have my thyroid checked because I dont drink soda or eat fast food and I work at a daycare so its not like I am sitting around all day. With all of this I still couldnt lose the weight I gained from having my son. I was just wondering what kind of weight loss I can expect. It has completely curbed my appetite. Today I had a banana for breakfast. Half a cup of hamburger helper and half a cup of tuna salad for lunch and a cup of tuna salad for dinner (which I had to force myself to eat) If anyone has experience taking this pill please let me know what happened Also please dont tell me how dangerous it is or that diet pills dont work or that I should just exercise. I have tried that. I am under the close watch of my doctor.
