   	Lakewood Police shooting kills four Washington police officers (News) Four police officers were fatally shot Sunday in what authorities called an ambush in a coffee shop outside Tacoma, Washington. The Lakewood officers were sitting in the coffee shop in neighboring Parkland before the start of their shifts, reading on their computers, when the shooting happened, said Pierce County sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer. Authorities believe the officers were meeting and going over cases or doing paperwork, he said. "This was a targeted, selected ambush," Troyer said. Troyer said a gunman came inside and shot all four officers. Two coffee shop employees and other customers inside the shop were unharmed, he said. "As you can imagine, they are traumatized," he said of those inside the coffee shop. "Some are in shock." Families of the officers have been notified, Troyer said. All of the officers -- three males and a female -- were in uniform, wearing vests and had marked patrol cars parked outside, he said. A $10000 reward was offered for information leading to an arrest, Troyer said. Police are looking for one man in connection with the attack, which happened at about 8 am PT, Troyer said. It all began when a 7 year veteran to the Seattle police was patrolling the area of the 4400 block of South Kenyon Street in the Rainier Valley around 2:45 am Tuesday morning. The officer noticed an unoccupied stolen vehicle parked on the side of the street. The vehicle was reported stolen earlier Monday night. The vehicle was running and no one was in it. That's when the officer noticed movement behind his patrol car. He got out of his patrol car and recognized a man who looked like Maurice Clemmons, the suspect in the Lakewood Police shootings approaching him. The officer ordered the man to stop and show his hands. The man refused and started to run back around the patrol car. The officer again told him to stop and fired several rounds. Seattle Fire quickly responded to the scene and it was determined that the man, Maurice Clemmons, was dead. There have been several other arrests in the past 24 hours, including that of the suspected get-away driver and three other people who aided and abetted Clemmons over the past two day.    	Surveillance Video Shows Shooting At Mexican Restaurant Lakewood Police released surveillance video Tuesday of an armed robbery and shooting at a Viva Burrito restaurant in the 6700 block of West Colfax. The robbery happened at about 12:30 am on July 22 when, according to police, two Hispanic males walked into the restaurant, approached the male employee and demanded money. "The suspect produced a handgun and fired, hitting the clerk who was able to run out of the business," said Lakewood Police spokesman Steve Davis. Security video shows the suspects first attempting to open the cash register, and then giving up and grabbing the register and leaving. The employee was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The first suspect is a short Hispanic male with short dark hair, a yellow shirt, blue jeans and armed with some type of a handgun.
