Resolved Question: @margecutter I found two pigeon fledglings in the park model we brought home, what do I do with them? - we just bought a park model (a house on wheels) and moved it at least ten miles north from where it was to our house, within the aluminum double roof we found these two pigeon fledglings, near two weeks old. What can I feed them? Or should I leave them in the roof and hope their parents find them?

Also, if I end up separating the fledglings, and the fledglings turn out to be a male and a female, do I need to separate the male and the female to prevent them from reproducing? Or is it okay to have brothers and sisters to mate each other? I've read that it is common to mate brothers and sisters, but I'm still not sure if it's a good idea. Thanks!

Resolved Question: advice on feeding/caring for fledgling pigeon? - I found a pigeon on my car (probably spotted turtledove), which must have been hurt in the wild xmas day storms we had here yesterday. It can fly but must be too tired because I was driving down the road when I noticed it sitting on my windscreen wiper! Anyway, I couldn't get it to take any food but it is passing normal looking feces and plenty of it so it has fed. Right now I have it in a box in my cupboard to get its stress levels down. I have a book on caring for rescued native birds so I have the info on what to do, it is just when I should do it that I am unsure of. I was just trying to give it some balled up bread, but is that ok? what is best feed for it? And any other tips from experienced persons would be appreciated.
