Sign up for my free tools and newsletter at www.FatlossLifestyle.com The "Dumbbell Press Exercise" is the #1 Chest exercise. It is better the barbell bench press because it puts the tension in the pec muscles. Where as the barbell press is more of a restrictive movement & some of the tension can go to the rotator cuff and tendons. Remember to keep the feet, buns, & shoulder blades on the floor and bench while arching the lower back about 3-5 inches off the bench. Go slow with a 3-1-3 tempo and focus on squeezing water out of a sponge mentality as you are driving the bells slowly to the top. As you bring the bells down, slightly face the palms toward each other as this will kick the elbows into the body slightly. At the bottom make sure to keep the bells 2-4 inches away from the chest to keep constant tension on the pecs. I started passionately studying what lean people were doing in 1987; because my waistline was 40 inches. I have learned a lot since then. I am now in the best shape of my life at the age of 43. 3. Intense "Bench Press" Chest Workouts -
www.thenewlean.com http A muscle group which a lot of guys spend hours upon hours working on is the chest. Day in and day out people go to the gym, jump on the bench, and press till their heart is content. It's not uncommon to see people simply doing flat bench presses for chest along with some flye movements. To build an overall strong and well developed chest you need to do more than just a flat bench press. You need to hit the chest from different angles and really simulate and break down those fibers to see some growth. This video will show you some tips and workouts for building perfect pecs. Let's first talk a little about the chest and the musculature so you can fully understand how the chest works. The chest is made up of two muscles: the pectoralis major and the pectoralis minor. The pecs are found attached to the humerus of the arm, right near where the shoulder joint is. The pecs then run across the front of the body and originate on the breastbone. The pectoralis major is attached to the front of the body on the rib cage. The pectoralis minor is found underneath the pectoralis major. It originates on the ribs and attaches up to the scapula, specifically at the coracoid process. The pectoralis major brings the humerus across the body while the pectoralis minor moves the shoulders forward. n order to have a fully developed chest, there are a couple qualities that you must possess: * You want to have thick pectoral muscle mass. * You want to have the inside ...

6. 395 lbs x 2 Bench, 380 x 2 Close-Grip & 350 x 2 Incline (at 220 lbs) -
Pretty solid workout today... New PR on all 3 lifts for doubles... I had a huge grinder on my flat bench double with 395 lbs because I lost a lot of energy on the first rep by going too slow on the eccentric phase. That turned rep two into an all out battle that I am still not sure how I won! Ha, ha...I just remember thinking "not today bar, not today!!!" Ha, ha... Had to skip my second set on the flat bench due to the intensity of that first set. The calculator puts a double with 395 lbs at just above 420 lbs for a 1 rep max...so I probably have at least 410 lbs. We'll see soon enough... Close-grips were reasonably comfortable for both sets. Calculator puts a double with 380 lbs at around 405 lbs for a single...that seems reasonable after hitting that grinder on the flats... Incline double with 350 lbs puts me around 370 lbs for a single...so that's good considering all the heavy sets before hand.

7. 380 lbs x 3 Bench Press (at 220 lbs) -
Just feeling out my shoulders today...they were a bit sore from my last workout from the grinder with 460 lbs on the reverse-bands. So, I just warmed up as per usual to see how everything felt. 325 lbs felt okay, 360 lbs felt easy...so I thought I would try a triple with 380 lbs because my shoulders weren't bothering me at all... It was a grinder...but I'll take it. Shoulders felt fine throughout the movement. Calculator puts that at around 417 lbs for a max, slightly better than a double with 390 lbs (415 lb max). Then I reduced the weight to 335 lbs and did 3 more sets of easy doubles. Then I moved to the incline bench and started with 315 lbs. As soon as I took the bar off the rack I could feel my sore shoulders from last workout. So, I did 2 reps and called it a day. Obviously my shoulders aren't ready for that movement yet. Besides the 380 lb triple, everything was quite easy and should help me recover nicely for the next few sessions. Thanks for watching!
